In 1994, a small group of friends led by Walter Simeon recorded a Christmas song entitled "Christmas Belle."
The song was written by Walter and recorded on his four track Tascam.
So enamored were they of the process, that they reconvened the following year and recorded the family favorite "Santa Better Come."

Caroline was eight years old when she debuted on that song, written by Walter and backed up by Steve, Neil, and Kathy.
The group continued to grow until 1997, when a house fire necessitated recording off the property,
never advancing beyond a rough demo recorded in Neil's basement.
Nevertheless, that song, "Home," resonates with earnest performances and haunting lyrics.

By 2002, the band included all three McCrossan children and featured solos by Daniel on guitar, Caroline on flute, and young Gregory on trumpet.
Ten years later, these talented young musicians began to compose their own songs and there were a couple of years
where there more demos than time to record.

As of Christmas 2025, Walter Simeon and the McCarollers have amassed approximately 40 songs over these 31 years.
This page will feature most of the demos, including the ones that have not been recorded. Yet.
